The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi is a government technical university and research institution which is situated in Hauz Khas, New Delhi, India. - Institute Free Studentship-U.G.: 10% of students are offered free studentship on the basis of merit scored.
- Institute Merit-cum-Means (MCM) Scholarship: The Institute offers INR 1000 per month to about 25% of students. It offered to commendable undergraduate students enrolled in engineering and technology.
- Institute Merit Prizes and Certificates: Top 7% of students coming from B.Tech are rewarded with an amount of INR 2500 up to 8th and 10th semester.
- Scholarship provision for SC/ST students: The Institute releases the tuition fee of all SC/ST/PD students irrespective of their guardians/ parents’ revenues.
- Donor Scholarship: Individual organizations, as well as trusts, provide grants for students enrolled in the Institute.

IIT Delhi 2025 Admissions Process
Admission to BE/ B.Tech program will be made available on the basis of marks in JEE Advanced. Students qualified in IIT JAM would be eligible for admission to the M.Sc program. In order to guarantee admission to MBA, candidates have to qualify in CAT.
Tech & M.Des admission will be provided through GATE and CEED scores respectively. IITD also offers admission to these programs through its own written test and/ or interview.IITD provides direct admission to MS (R) on grounds of GATE score and or on the basis of written test with respect to certain eligibility conditions.
GATE/ UGC-NET/ CSIR-NET/ ICAR or ICMR score owners or DST-Inspire scholarship holders can sign up for the Ph.D. program. The application form can be supplemented online on payment of application fee by Credit or Debit card.
