KLEU AIET 2024 Eligibility
The KLEU AIET is providing medical education and research for candidates and those candidates who want to appear for this examination, have to check their eligibility criteria before filling the application form. In the MBBS and BDS courses, only those candidates can apply who have the eligibility criteria.
Age Criteria
The candidate’s age should be 17 years as of 31st December of the admission year.

For MBBS Courses
- Those candidates who want to appear for the examination should qualify for the Medical Council of India and KLEU.
- They should pass in class 12 from any state board of education and obtained 60% marks in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology are eligible to apply.
- The applicant should also have 50% marks in the English language in the qualifying exam.
For BDS Course
- Those applicants will fulfill every qualification as suggested by the Dental Council of India & KLEU.
- Those candidates who scored 50% marks in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology taken together in the qualifying examination (Class 12) are eligible to apply.
For BPT Course
- Candidates have to score 40% and above aggregate marks in P.C.B in 10+2
- also, they should be pass in the subject of English
- there is a 5% relaxation in minimum eligibility criteria for SC/ ST category
For B.Pharma Course
- Those students are qualified in the P.U.C examination of Karnataka P.U.C Board or an equivalent examination of any other approved board or university by two years.
- Physics & Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the mathematics/ Computer Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Biology (Minimum eligibility should be based on the aggregate of P.C.M or P.C.B) or PCMB.
- Candidates should have to score at least 40% marks in the above subjects together.
For B.Sc. Nursing Course
- 45% and above aggregate marks in PCBE in 10 + 2
- Pass in English
- 5% relaxation in minimum eligibility criteria for candidates belonging to SC/ST category
- Be Physically fit (Certificate to be issued by Registered Medical Practitioner)
The Issue of Eligibility Certificate
Those candidates have got the seat as per MCC and they will get an eligibility certificate as per their eligibility criteria prescribed by the respective Regulating Council and as per University norms for the respective course. Eligibility for admission will be as per the Regulations of the Medical Council of India (MCI) & Dental Council of India (DCI)
There is an eligibility’ fee (nonrefundable) that will be charged from candidates and the eligibility fee is Rs.2, 000/- (Rs Two Thousand only). The eligible candidate can pay this fee either through Demand Draft / Cash to the University during the admission process.

For NRI candidates
- A student holding a foreign passport is considered an NRI only. Not eligible under the General category.
- Students who studied more than 6 years abroad will be considered as NRI.
