The Application Form of HPTU M.Sc. in Applied Physics Application form has been released on the official website of Himachal Pradesh Technical University.

Those applicants are interested and eligible to get admission to HPTU M.Sc. in Applied Physics from the affiliated colleges of HPTU, they can apply by filling the application form through the following steps mentioned below.

• First of all, candidates need to register themselves by submitting required details such as email id and phone number in the required field after visiting the official website of Himachal Pradesh Technical University.
• After registration, the login details will be provided to the applicants to fill the application form by entering the required details such as personal and educational details.
• In the application form, applicants have to upload scanned required documents such as photographs and signatures as per the prescribed format.
• After filling in all the details, applicants have to preview the application form then make payment of the application fee.

Those applicants will be qualified for a bachelor’s degree in science with a least 50% marks (45% in case of reserved categories) in aggregate in the three years of degree or honors in the subject concerned i.e. Physics.

HPTU M.Sc. in Applied Physics 2024 Merit List 

The merit list will be published on the official website and the applicants will be selected on the merit list on the basis of their marks obtained in the previous year’s qualifying examination and entrance examination.

If two applicants have the same HPCET aggregate marks, the candidate with higher marks in Mathematical methods, classical Mechanics, General Properties of matter (section-A) will be ranked above.

If the marks in Mathematical methods, classical Mechanics, General Properties of matter are the same, then higher Optics, Electricity, and magnetism (section -B) marks would break the tie.

The minimum/cut off marks to seek admission to M. Sc. Physics/ M. Sc. Environment Science on the basis of HPCET– 2019 and Bachelor degree level examinations shall be as follows:

All the qualified candidates will get seats after completing the counseling and seat allotment procedure and they should have to report to the allotted college with the admission fee and required documents.

• Matriculation/Higher Secondary Part-I/Indian School Certificates showing the date of birth
• National Level Entrance Examination/HPCET Score Card
• Character Certificate from the Head of Institution last attended
• Bonafide/Domicile Certificate issued by the concerned Sub-Divisional Magistrate Executive Magistrate, if applicable
• Reserved Category Certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if applicable
• Physically Challenged Certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if applicable
• Income Certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if applied under Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme
• An undertaking/affidavit attested by the Executive Magistrate if applied under Beti Hai Anmol Scheme
• Kashmiri Migrants and domicile certificate issued by Competent Authority, if applied under Supernumerary Kashmiri Migrant Quota
• In case an intervening period/gap is involved, a certificate/affidavit issued by a Class-I Gazetted Officer/Notary Public shall be required for the entire intervening period/gap showing the candidate’s preoccupation after leaving the Institution last attended.
