Karnataka PGCET 2023 Notification has been released now. The candidates must apply for the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test for MBA, MCA, and M.E./M admission. Tech/M. Arch Courses. The merit list will be prepared separately for MBA, MCA, and ME/M.Tech/M. Arch solely based on the marks obtained in the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test without taking the marks obtained by the applicants in the qualifying examination.
The qualifying examination marks are considered only for eligibility. After the announcement of the merit list, the successful applicants are called for Karnataka PGCET counseling. Only those candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria must attend the counseling.

Paper Pattern for all Courses
The PGCET will be held in one session separately for the MBA, conducted for 100 marks with 150 minutes duration. Each question paper will be of (Objective) Multiple Choice type. The question paper will be in four different versions. Each question will have four different options. Each question will carry ONE mark.
The PGCET will be held in one session separately for MCA courses conducted for 100 marks with 150 minutes duration. Each question paper will be of (Objective) Multiple Choice type. The question paper will be in four different versions. Each question will have four different options. 60 questions in Part – A carry one mark each. 20 questions in Part – B carry two marks each. Thus, there will be 80 questions, and a total mark is 100.

Eligibility Criteria
For MBA
An applicant who has passed a Recognised Bachelor’s Degree of a minimum of 3 years duration examination or equivalent examination and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects, including languages in all the years of the Degree Examination, are eligible for admission to MBA courses.
(45% of marks in Q. E. in case of SC, ST, and Category-I of Karnataka candidates)
For MCA:-
An applicant who has passed any recognized undergraduate examination or equivalent examination with Mathematics or Statistics or Computer Science or Computer Applications Computer Programming or Business Mathematics or Business Statistics as one of the optional subjects and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects in all the years of the Degree Examination is eligible for admission to MCA courses.
45% of marks in Q. E. in the case of SC, ST, and Category-I of Karnataka candidates.

For M.E. / M.Tech / M.Arch
An applicant who has passed the qualifying examination or equivalent examination as prescribed by the Competent Authority and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects of all the years/semesters of the Degree Examination is eligible for admission to M.E. / M.Tech / M.Arch courses (45% of marks in Q. E. in the case of SC, ST, and Category-I candidates.
