The JKBPEE stands for Jammu and Kashmir Board Professional Entrance Examination. It has organized the Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test for candidates appearing to get admission to JKBPEE. It is the state-level entrance test available in the Jammu and Kashmir State, even as both colleges, i.e. government and private, professional colleges, for candidates.

JKCET 2024 Cut-Off
All of the participating candidates have to obtain qualified and equivalent marks in the subjects of physics, chemistry, and biology. Candidates’ marks should equal the minimum cut-off marks for admission to the JKBPEE. The candidates from the ST/SC and OBC category will get 40% marks in the place of 50%. The TFW or P&B category candidates will be considered open merit list candidates.
Those candidates will be considered on an open merit list; they must clear Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English separately, and the minimum mark is 50%.

JKCET Merit List 2024
The JKBPEE will declare the merit on their official website for candidates, and those candidates who have taken the examination can check their merit list. The merit list will be prepared based on the candidate’s performance in the entrance examination. After selecting the merit list, candidates will go for the counselling round and through this round, candidates will get admission to the JKBPEE.
JKCET Breaking Tie Marks 2024
The candidates can become part of breaking tie marks if two or more candidates get equal marks, and there is the following condition for that case.
- Those candidates will obtain higher marks in Chemistry in CET if marks in Biology and Math are equal.
- Applicants are getting higher marks in Bio/Math in CET
- Those candidates will be older and be given preference if the above points are equal.
JKCET 2024 Counseling
The JKCET Counseling will be conducted through the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination, and candidates who are shortlisted in the merit list can attend the counselling procedure. The candidates have to carry all the required documents at the time of counselling. It is necessary to carry out verification. Through counselling, candidates will also be selected for seat allotment in different Jammu and Kashmir State colleges.

JKCET MBBS BDS Admission through NEET
The JKBPEE is providing the MBBS and BDS courses to the candidates in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, and it has opted for a 15% quota seat reservation for the Merit-Based top 15% candidates in NEET-UG. All other states/ UTs have fully opted for NEET and will fill 100% of seats based on the NEET scorecard & All India Ranks.
