BCECE UGEAC 2024: Counselling (Started), Dates, Result, Merit List, Admission Procedure

BCECE UGEAC 2024 Counselling for Engineering Course has been Started on 10th September 2024. 2nd Round Revised Allotment Result has been Released on 2nd September 2024. Counselling has been Started on 20th July 2024. The Result/Rank Card was Available on 29th June 2024. Registration Last Date has been Extended till 20th June 2024. The UGEAC (Under Graduate Engineering Admission Counseling) is organized through the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB).

The entrance is conducted to offer admission to the applicants in first-year B.E. / B. Tech. Courses in Govt. Engineering Colleges of Bihar and Exalt College of Engg. & Tech. (Private), Vaishali, Bihar, based on the merit list / Rank List of JEE (Main) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

BCECE UGEAC Application Form 2024

The Application Form for BCECE UGEAC has been Released on the official website of the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board.

Those applicants are interested and eligible for admission in the first year of B.E. / B. Tech. Courses in Govt. Engineering Colleges of Bihar and Exalt College of Engg. & Tech. (Private), Vaishali, Bihar, can complete the Application Form through the following steps.

• Primarily, applicants must register by submitting the required details, such as email ID and phone number, in the required field of the official website of the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board.
• After registration, applicants can complete the Application Form by entering the required personal and educational details.
• The applicants must upload scanned required documents such as photographs and signatures per the prescribed format.
• After filling in all the details, applicants must preview the Application Form and make a counselling fee. After submitting, they have to download parts A and B Application Forms.

Documents to keep carry to fill Application Form

• Candidates have a valid email ID and Mobile no for registration.
• Keep the Scanned / Soft copy passport-size photograph (Less than 100 KB).
• Scanned / Soft copy of signature (Less than 100 KB).
• Aadhar Card (if available).
• Keep a Credit card, Net banking, or ATM-cum-Debit card along with you before starting to fill out the form.

Application Fee

Candidates must pay the counselling fee of Rs. 1200/- for Unreserved/ BC / EBC categories and Rs. 600/- for SC / ST / DQ categories (as per last year). There are two payment modes for counselling fees, detailed and explained in the Application Form.

BCECE UGEAC Eligibility Criteria

The applicants must check their eligibility criteria before filling out the application form and the eligibility criteria details mentioned below.

• Candidates should have Indian Citizenship.
• There is no minimum age limit for engineering courses.
• There will be a medical fitness test for the selected candidates; after that, they are eligible for admission into engineering colleges.

BCECE UGEAC Merit List 2024

In the form of a merit list, the result will declare selection after submitting an application form. Applicants will be selected on the merit list based on marks scored in the JEE (Main) examination conducted through the National Testing Agency (NTA).

The rank and name of candidates for admission to B.E. / B. Tech. Courses contain mentions in the merit list. Candidates should also have to take the printout of the merit list for further use. The merit list of selected candidates will be called out for counselling sessions.

BCECE UGEAC Reservation Criteria

The authority decides the reservation criteria for unreserved categories to provide admission to the candidates in UG engineering courses.

Seat reservation criteria details are mentioned below.

• Scheduled Caste (SC) Category: 16%
• Scheduled Tribe (ST) Category: 1%
• Extremely Backward Class (EBC): 18%
• Backward Class (BC): 12%
• Reserved Category Girls (RCG): 3%

BCECE UGEAC Counseling and Seat Allotment Procedure

After publishing the merit list, the counselling procedure will be conducted through the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board, and those candidates are selected in the merit list, they will call out for the counselling session.

During counselling, applicants must fill out the counselling application form, fill in their choices, and pay the fees.

Those applicants are selected; should have to carry the required documents at the counselling centre for verification, and the documents to be verified are

• Original Admit Card of JEE MAIN 2024.
• Original Score Card of JEE MAIN 2024.
• Passing Certificate / Marks Sheet / Admit Card of Matric / Equivalent Examination.
• Passing Certificate / Marks Sheet / Admit Card of Intermediate Sc. / Equivalent Examination.
• Residential Certificate
• Caste Certificate
• All the Certificates / Documents in original per the admission requirements in Private Engg. Colleges.
• Six copies of passport-size photographs were pasted on the admit card of JEE MAIN 2024.
• Downloaded Print of Online filled Application Form (Part-A and Part-B) UGEAC-2024
• Aadhar Card
• Any other document required (if any)
