NEET 2024 Result is Declared on 4th June 2024. To qualify for the NEET exam and secure a place in the NEET 2024 Cut-Off list, candidates will have to obtain the minimum qualifying percentile. Candidates in the General category will have to acquire a minimum of 50 percentile marks in the exam. Those belonging to the reserved categories like Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) will have to obtain a minimum of 40 percentile marks. Candidates belonging to the Physically Handicapped (PH) category will have to acquire a minimum of 45 percentile marks in NEET 2024.

NEET 2024 Cut Off
The NEET cut-off is the minimum qualifying mark for the candidates who want to appear for MBBS and BDS admission. This can also be termed as the minimum percentile of the test. These are the lowest marks that a candidate should get to qualify for the next level of examination.

NEET 2024 Cut-Off and Counselling
The NEET board will be held shortly after the NEET result, and the NEET 2024 limit is declared. The NEET counseling for 15% of all Indian quota seats will be conducted in an online mode by the Medical Counseling Committee of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). The detailed Counseling Process will be posted on the MCC website shortly after the outcome statement.

Factors for NEET cut-off
There are several factors that are responsible for preparing the cut-off mark sheet for the NEET examination. The factors are as follows: 1) The number of candidates who appeared for the NEET entrance examination. 2) The difficulty level of the test. 3) Marking scheme. 4) Number of MBBS and BDS seats. In order to qualify for the NEET Examination, there is a special cut-off for the reserved as well as unreserved category. The general category candidates have to secure a minimum of 50 percentile score in the test, while those candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes and the Other Backward Classes have to obtain a minimum of 50 percentile score in the test.
Further, on the basis of NEET cut-off marks scored by the students, the scorecard of NEET 2024 will be decided or specified by the official authorities. This scorecard will tell whether the candidate is qualified or non-qualified for the further process of NEET. Again, among the qualified candidates, the top 15% of candidates will be directly eligible for the NEET Counselling process under 15% All India Quota seats.
These top 15% of candidates will be the top scorers of the NEET 2024 examination. The rank range for participating in 15% All India Quota seats will be declared separately. Based on the NEET cut-off 2024, the controller of the examination will publish the merit list of qualified candidates. Aspirants who qualify for the merit list will be called for NEET counseling. Qualifying NEET 2024 Cut Off
The percentile of the NEET 2024 cutoff will be determined based on the higher marks secured in the All India Common Merit List in NEET 2024. The expected qualifying percentile for the NEET Exam 2024 on the basis of the category is listed in the table below.

According to the official announcement made by the authorities, in order to qualify for the MBBS and BDS seats in government, private, and deemed medical colleges/Universities in India, candidates belonging to the unreserved category has to score a minimum of 50 percentile in the NEET 2024 examination.
Whereas candidates belonging to the Reserved category, such as Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribes/Other Backward Classes, have to score a minimum of 40 percentile in the NEET 2024 exam, and the candidates who are with locomotory disability of lower limbs, the minimum mark is 45 percentile.
The percentile will be determined on the basis of higher marks secured in the All India common merit list in NEET 2018.
