IIM Amritsar Cutoff 2023 – Check Category Wise Cut-off Here

The 15th IIM to have been put up under the administration of the Ministry of HRD, IIM Amritsar has been raised under the supervision of IIM Kozhikode and is known for its two-year full-time Post Graduate Programme in Management. CAT percentiles are the source of IIM Amritsar Cutoffs.

CAT 2014 was considered for admissions to the test batch, with 96.3 percentile being the standard cutoff for General contenders. It relatively fell throughout two years as IIM Amritsar Cutoff for 2015 was 95.6 percentile and for 2016 was 90 percentile.

As linked to CAT, next year saw a slump in the IIM Amritsar cutoff. For General candidates, the requisite cutoff percentile fell to 90 from 95.6. For NC-OBC entrants, the sectional and overall cutoff fell by three and five percentiles individually. For the PWD/DAP category, the complete cutoff percentile fell by five units. For SC contenders, the global CAT cutoff was reduced by only one percentile.

As per the year 2014, CAT 2015 had a studied set-up with three different sections. These remained Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Analysis. There remained some noticeable differences in the complete total percentile cutoff.

For General contenders, it went down by 0.70 percentile. For NC-OBC contenders, there was a decreased by almost four percentile. For SC contenders, the IIM Amritsar cutoff decreased by seven percentile. For ST contenders, the drop was an enormous 15 percentile, and for DAP contenders it remained ten percentile.

CAT featured two sections which remained Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation & Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning. For General Entrants, IIM Amritsar set the percentile cutoff for Section 1 as 80 and Section two as 80 also, with the complete total being 96.3 percentile for the experimental set.
