IIM Ahmedabad, the top B-School in India, has released the PGP Admission Standards. As stated by the institute, CAT contenders will be selected because of a two-step procedure.

In the first step, contenders are qualified on the basis CAT scores afterward occurrence in Analytical Writing Test (AWT) and Personal Interview (PI). Contenders’ profiles including past academic records and work experience is also taken into consideration.

IIM Ahmedabad Admission Standards- Selecting for AWT & PI

There are two stages in which selection procedure is carried out by IIM Ahmedabad. Applicants will be qualified because of their Composite Score. In this stage, not only CAT grades and previous academic records are considered, but the educational diversity factor is also taken into contemplation.

The normalized AR score of an applicant is up to their AR score divided by the regular 50 AR scores from the applicants’ pool, (the candidates’ pool, in this case, being defined as the group of contenders who appear for CAT and apply to IIMA.)

Cutoff for Class X & XII Average Percentage (P)

Percentage marks in Bachelor’s Degree – Minimum cut-off percentage, to be set at the 80th percentile of the percentage of marks of the individual ACRC group of the applicants’ pool.

 IIM Ahmedabad Admission Criteria 2023-24: Final Selection

 The final composite score will be computed because of the following:

FCS = 0.50 (Normalised PI Score) + 0.10 (Normalised AWT Score) + 0.40 (CS)

The last assortment of contenders will be grounded in a various set of factors including performance in CAT, AWT & PI, academic, co-curricular and extra-curricular achievements, work experience etc. Selected entrants will be obliged to authorize admission suggestions by the second or third week of May 2023.
