The TAPMI Manipal Institute provides the final placement to the students. All the students from the three full-time AICTE approved postgraduate programs; PGDM, PGDM-Banking & Financial Services and PGDM-Healthcare secured plum jobs in corporate India. There were 93% conversions in Pre-Placement offers either from their summer internship organizations or through various B-school competitions, proving their mettle.

Key Placement Trends

There is out of 468 students, 14 opted out to pursue their own ventures, higher studies, engage in a family business or with other plans. All the 454 students of the 2016-18 batch were placed. 143 recruiters competed among themselves while extending offers to the TAPMI students.

The year saw companies from a wide range of sectors such as Banking, Manufacturing, ITES, Consulting, FMCG, and Logistics participating in the process. In all, 143 companies participated in the placement process 2019 as against 130 last year.

Average Salary

• The average package for the batch went up to Rs. 10.60 lakhs in Placement from Rs. 10.10 lakhs last year.
• The highest domestic salary stood at Rs.19.4 lakhs while the highest international package stood at Rs. 23.8 lakhs.

Higher salary than last year & More Recruiters

A comparative analysis of placements at TAPMI for each of the PGDM programs reveals that the institute has achieved a higher salary while the number of recruiters has also increased to 143 from 130 last year.

The program-wise placement data reveal that the average salary in each of the three programs namely PGDM; PGDM (Health Care Management) and PGDM (Banking & Financial Services) has gone up.
