It was renamed after former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh. The University is a public university located in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. The University celebrated its silver jubilee in the year 1991.

CCS University is located on a vast 222 acres of land with a beautiful & pollution-free campus having playgrounds, a botanical garden, a Gym, an Indoor Stadium, a Guest House, an Auditorium, a Medical Centre, and Hostels for Boys & Girls.

University offers various programs in the many different departments viz. Humanities, Social Science, Engineering, M.Phil., Ph.D. Programs. There are currently 22 UGC & 35 Self-financed universities. The university has various colleges affiliated with it in 2 divisions with 9 districts.

Master of Arts is a Master’s degree awarded for the PG course. Master of Art is 2 year Post Graduate course.

• The minimum Eligibility is a BA from a recognized university or institute.
• Candidates can opt for MA in different fields after completing a BA
• There are 4 Semesters in this course.
• It can be pursued as full-time & part-time as well.
